The story:

Love working for/with Jon Holloway (www.jonholloway.com) and his wife Lori.  I’ve completed three projects now for Jon who is a professional photographer and professor.  They are such welcoming and creative spirits. It is so good for the blood pressure to be in their presence.

Jon, Lori and daughter Annie wanted a cottage style house nestled right at the wood line on their land in Greenwood, SC.  They really love the outdoors so the floor plan works hard to blur the line between the two; creating easy access and flow between indoor and outdoor rooms.  I designed an open tread stair/terrarium combination so as you enter the front door, you look through the staircase into the woods.  I love this small footprint, open floor plan, and human scale friendly little cottage style house.
