In 2016, my wife and I began to build our dream home. It is Energy Star Rated, so I have personally been through the process. By the Fall of 2021, I should have our solar array in place and hopefully our house will be beyond net zero fulfilling all my hippie dreams. I would love to work on an Energy Star Rated home for you.
WoodWorking
Custom, functional woodworks
I dream of someday having a woodworking shop so I could design and build furniture and fixtures that I have floating around in my head. Here are some examples of gifts I have made mostly with the generosity and help of furniture maker Bob Wilson, who has been kind enough to let me use his shop a few times and look over my shoulder when I have questions.
I was also fortunate to be able to design and build all the built-ins and cabinetry in our new home. It would be very hard to find someone to make true mortise and tenon and pegged cabinetry, so I build them myself. Special thank you to Michael’s Custom Cabinetry for letting me work in their shop. I learned so much.
