The Story:

About two years after purchasing the Sundance Gallery building, Jon bought the building next door and turned it into rental studio spaces for local artists. The building up-fit consisted of 12 units in all with 4 of them being studio/retail spaces which bookended the building which fronts Maxwell and Oregon Avenues. Again this was a long and lean building, so I used a series of curved and angled partition walls to create front and rear galleries to display the tenants work. A bakery and frame shop have since moved in and occupy the majority of the space. The original working title for the project was The Hobbit’s Foot Studios….loved it!
